ABOUT US

The Stichting African Gay Youth Foundation is a Community based organization that provides support to the LGBT Community of African origin living in the Netherlands.

The Foundation acts as a focus point in addressing issues that affect the LGBT African Community in The Netherlands.

This is achieved through advocacy, documentation, coalition building, public education, and technical assistance via several programs.

MISSION

Improve the social and economic integration of the African LGBT community in the Netherlands.
Build the capacity of the target community by implementing programs and initiatives that directly benefit them.
Challenge oppression, racism and discrimination based on gender, sexuality, race and such factors by highlighting and supporting role models within the community

OBJECTIVES

 

• Shout - Provide a voice to the LGBT community.

• Share - Develop networks and partnerships for the LGBT Community.

• Support - Provide advice, information and guidance to the target community.

• Store / Save - Gather and collate Information and research on issues of interest to the LGBT community.
